Does anyone know a good place to have the ceremony and the reception at the same place? A lot of the ones I have been looking at charge extra for this and I am looking for something simple, but somewhat elegant. [FONT=Arial]

The 9th Street Abby, Randell Gallery, Piper Palm House, Jewell Box can all accomodate both ceremony and reception. The two that handle it the best are Randell Gallery and 9th Steet Abby. What I mean by the best is you don't even notice the transition as its happening. Usually there is another area you and your guests go to while the room is transformed.

You may want to check out the local wineries or even any of the parks. Another possibility is St. Louis City Hall, the only downside with them is the lack of air conditioning for the warmer months.
Good luck! |

Rebekah,
We photographed a wedding at the Randall Gallery today and if you have not looked into this venue, please do. The interior design is unique and it has beautiful lighting. All of the details appeared to be as polished as all of the main events. They provided enough staff and the guests seemed to enjoy the ceremony and reception. We were also close to the downtown locations for photography. I was so impressed with the Randall Gallery I would like for my daughter to consider it for her wedding.
